Well we went to church this morning. It feels SO good to be back. This morning, Grant grabbed the flagged and worshipped WITH me. I just wanted to cry. :) He just is so cute and fun. All my friends were cooing about him, and about us staying….
If I wondered if we were making the right choice, when we told people we weren’t leaving, and they said, “GOOD!” I had my answer. It was really touching to me, I didn’t realize how much we were loved. 
Then we spent the day hunting to replace my crappy leather furniture I HATE. We decided on a set from slumberlands. It’s a sectional, seen here….with the round ottoman.
It’s very different from anything we’d normally buy. We couldn’t see buying microfiber and having the same Grant issues as the leather. The choices if you don’t want microfiber, or leather are limited. We found this, and it’s a lightish sagey green, with browns and greens on the pillows and ottoman. It’s going to be nice, to have it here, and have the furniture fiasco OVER. :) And to have something REALLY nice.
And the boy and I only threatened each other with divorce like three times. It’s been a stormy weekend at the Swan’s adjusting to being back together, being tired, and just dealing with a two year old.
Speaking of two year olds…..
Today I opened the windows. It was GORGEOUS out. I wish I could have enjoyed it more, but I’m still in the throes of nicotine cravings and being outside makes me want to smoke. SO inside I shall stay. :) Anyway - I opened the windows, and Grant of course was SO happy. The boy and I were arguing about something in the bedroom, and we heard Grant fussing a bit. The boy went to check on him, and I followed to find the screen in our living room window out COMPLETELY, and the baby had thrown 5 of his cars out the window.
The boy and I about died on the spot. WHY he didn’t fall out the window I don’t know, but THANK GOD. That would’ve been BEYOND bad. Why would he take the screen out????!!!!???? It’s mind boggling, and frightening.
Okay - both boys are in bed, and I’m going to watch LOTS of TV now. I am taping some new shows. :) Must watchy.
Um, duh…how can he throw his cars out the window with the screen on?
*Also. The ottoman and couch are super cute. Good choice.
