I HEAR YOU

“Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or
that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.’ Why,
you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You
are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead,
you ought to say, ‘If [...]

My life…

This morning Grant shoved a goldfish up his nose.
He comes over to me, and goes, “Mamma, hhuurrrttt.” and pointed as his nose.  I look at him and sympathize and say, “I know you’re sick.”  He FREAKS out and makes me look at his nose.
Yep, he shoved a goldfish up there.
I know that mother’s everywhere wonder [...]

Dearest little Grant,
As I am writing you, you are 20 months old.  YOU ARE SO BIG.  Your Daddy and still are lamenting that fact, daily.  The last time I wrote you, you were 17 almost 18 months.  Now as you approach two I feel the need to write you again.  You are still amazing little [...]

Back to the cities

Well I am home after two GLORIOUS weeks at home with my family.  There I saw one of my oldest and dearest friends, saw most of my family, and spent hours and days being an auntie to Ms Ashlynn.  Today even Grant decided he needed to get in on the holding action, and it was [...]

On the road again…

Well yesterday I took off for Minneapolis to check on the kitties, change their litter, etc.  I got into town to meet some snow, and then decided I would just stay for the night.  I left Grant with Mom, and proceeded to have a wonderful night.
I went to church where the message was just for [...]

Life as an aunt…

Okay – after all the debacle of is my sister having a baby or is she not, she did have a baby obviously.  The doctor sent my sister home The 28th, much to everyone’s chagrin.  She’d been in pre-labor all week, and the doctor refused to augment her labor even though she’d dilated to a [...]
