Well so what’s the Feeb up to these days….he says, Da Da constantly, and babbles almost all the time. He called my mom Na Na while she was here, and when he sees things he loves (AKA - the kitties and babies or anything Baby Einstein) he says. “Ohhhhhhh” Every once and while he will say Mama, but hardly ever. He will say Daddy, T sounds for kitties. He also says Bah, which was hilarious while he had his Lamby ears on today, because he looked like he was trying to be a lamb. He’s starting to be really interesting in signing. I started teaching him more, and he loved it. He won’t do it but he watches intently. Then today I got him the Baby Einstein Baby Signs movies and we’re trying to get him to do Mommy and Daddy and he just watches us and GRINS from ear to ear. He loves it.
He’s not so into food. We have to force feed him, and he hates everything except banana laden anything. He will eat the baby cookies, and Graduates puffs. And apples and chicken.
One of his bottom teeth FINALLY just popped up, and the other isn’t far behind.
He won’t crawl, he just reaches and scoots or rolls himself to everything. Sometimes he does a complicated scoot through pull. He sits, and then reaches and scoots his butt over to his arms. But he won’t go on all fours at all. In fact he hates it.
He sits up by himself completely now, and without wobbling. He likes to jump in his bouncy seat and he likes to jump on me. He’s a bouncy kid.
When he’s not teething or having an ear infection he’s the happiest baby God ever made. He smiles and talks to everyone at every place we go, and flirts incessantly. He LOVES the bath, and loves to splash. He also is a TOTAL Momma’s boy. He gives kisses to me and his Daddy non-prejudicially, and to the very special people he loves, His Grandma’s, His Auntie Jeanie, and Auntie Kim. He’s obsessed with his Uncle Jason - to the point last time he and Auntie Emily came over she barely got to hold him. He loves little babies, especially girls and will SQUEAL at the top of his lungs.
And speaking of squealing at the top of his lungs, he loves to do that, especially in places like the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, you know where it’s really embarrassing for his Mom.
He loves toys that make noises, and spoons, pens, and paper. Especially receipts. It’s like the cash register spews gold and he can’t contain his joy.
He adores old people and puts on a special reserved baby show without screaming just for them. He had the ladies at my doctor’s office ready to kidnap him.
He’s the loudest at church, which makes my heart soar. He loves being there, loves my friends, and usually plays with one of them during church. It’s amazing to watch him learn there. I love it.
He’s heaven. He’s wearing little leather moccassions (the cheap Target Robeez) and his little (18 month) outfits just make him look like a little man. It’s just unreal how big he’s gotten. He weighs 22 pounds and is going in to size four diapers now. That’s what size Valerie’s 20 month old wears. He’s a baby in so many ways, but I’m starting to see the baby go away…the way he looks and analyzes anything and everything. He doesn’t cuddle but when he’s tired or sleepy. Otherwise he’s turned completely away from me exploring. I love him. He’s the best.

Oh my gosh, we miss you all so much!! We’re missing everything!
