So, today is getting off to a GREAT start. We had a HUGE all department meeting today, and my CELL PHONE rings in the middle of it. And then I have to switch lunches and go at 11:30 (which is ungodly early for someone who usually eats at 1:00) and let me tell you how happy a pregnant lady gets when her feeding schedule gets all messed up. But luckily I had such a FANTASTIC weekend I don’t even care that much. ![]()
Friday night the boy picked me up right at 4:45 pm. A million and twelve bonus points for him, and then we went to Totino’s for supper. Only the BEST italian joint in the world, and it’s our little Feebus place.
Then we headed over to Woodbury to check out their new outdoor mall place. It was GORGEOUS out and it was so fun just to doink around knowing that we wouldn’t have to do anything all weekend! ![]()
Saturday it was all about the garage sales, and sleeping in. Woke up at 11, mission accomplished. Then we went and ate at Blink Bonnie subs downtown, delicious. We hit about six or seven sales, and drove ALL over the metro. I procured a bassinet, which is a back up in case my Dad doesn’t get to the cradle he said he was going to build. Not because I don’t trust him to build it, but because he’s working and building a house and moving all in the next three months and I don’t know that he really has the time. Anyway the bassinet was only $10 and it’s in awesome shape…it looks like it’s barely been used. I also got a bunch of baby clothes, including Baby Gap stuff for uber cheap. I spent like NOTHING and got a bunch of stuff.
Then we headed to Target because I needed some new shoes. They tell you your feet will grow when you’re pregnant and this was another thing I thought was a BUNCH of crap. Plus my feet are starting to be permanently swollen, and I just need something summery and comfortable. And I wanted to go to Target because I haven’t been there in forever.
Sunday, we hit a new church at 10:30. Total disappointment…again but it was Easter and it was a nice service. Just not an us service, or church. This is a post on it’s on I will have to post later. Then we went to an awesome restaurant, and had the best BBQ and potatoes we’ve had in a long time. Then we went to Ikea, and it was dead, and we got to play a whole bunch and try to not buy things for the new apartment. Then we can home and stayed put for the afternoon….we did our laundry and packed some boxes.
Wahoo weekend.
