Okay so every girl who has ever seen Oprah, Clean Sweep, Trading Spaces, Extreme Makeover house version *damnit I SUCK and don’t know the name* has heard of Ikea. One just opened up by the mega mall here two weekends ago. It’s the biggest thing since sliced bread up here…seriously. Greg’s boss has been six times, of course no one I know has been there because all we can talk about is Jesus, BUT I GOT TO GO.
Foo, Mrs. Foo, and Linds, when you guys come up here we are rocking the Ikea store. It’s the cheapest, coolest funiture ever invented. I expected because I heard all the above mention stores talk about how cheap the stuff was, that it would be shoddily made. NO IT’S NOT. They have everything there, and the coolest colors, it reminds me of Gap for the lower class I guess. It’s just an expierence and if no one has ever heard of Ikea….FINE. Despite the fact that you couldn’t walk because there were so many people in there, it was STILL cool. Ray linked to it on his message, go check it out, Foo you and Mrs. could get so much cool/cheap stuff there! The best part, you put it together yourself (unless it’s a couch or bed or something) so you can totally trek it back to Iowa. Highlight of my week obviously, and I am taking the boy mom there this week whether she likes it or not because I know she will like it.
Other highlight of the week. NEW NEIGHBORS. This is mildly sad because Thursday night I went over and hung out with the girls that used to live there, and decided I shouldn’t have hated it so much. They wanted me to go to church with them, and gave me Arbor Mist to drink. I was feeling bad until they started making out, and the girl whose boyfriend beats her started pouring one out for her homies (IE pouring out a beer for the boy who beats her because he’s in jail because he beats her.) It was weird but the last days of their living here was very, very cool. Anyway new neighbors, a oriental wifey, oriental three kids, and her white boyfriend. I came outside today at five and started homeworking…she yelled in Chinese *or whatever* at the top of her little oriental lungs ALL night long. Talk about trying not to laugh my ass off. Heheheheheheehehe. Anyhoo they have three little kids who are just adorable *please don’t fuck with my cats little kids or you will cease to be cute* who run around the yard screaming in Chinese *or whatever* as well. My life is complete. They are really nice people, so please excuse all my ethinc slurs. I don’t mean it…I’m just retarded.
Everything else pretty much still sucks…this is my last week of school THANK GOD. Still haven’t figured much out as far as that goes, but someone in the Dean’s office should be taking care of it since she emailed me and told me she would. I am just hoping that something can be resolved or else I will be the big fat loser without a degree. Yep, not very happy about that.
Ready to get to Colorado…we leave in 9 days!! Yay for camping and family fun!
The boy mom and sister will be here Wed-Fri I believe, I’m going to be conferencing it up Wednesday - Saturday, going to a big revival thingy Saturday night. Just hoping that I can get all this school work and work work wrapped up adequatley before I kill myself or something.
