Okay and Hello everyone.
This day is getting progressively worse so I am going to write and write and write in this thing hopefully dispelling all my negative energy and regrouping it into positive energy.
*Nervous giggling*
Anyhoo, this weekend was a page out of the Journal for the Criminally Insane.
Friday nighty Greg and I laid around/cleaned in an effort to finish the house and rid me of my sickness. I feel lots better, but I am not totally eradicating myself of it due to lack of ability to lay down and do nothing. So the fevers have basically stopped unless I get nervous/irritated/excited about things and then my body oozes into overload and the fever kicks my ass. The house looks 100% better, it’s just not up to par for either of us to be able to live comfortably and without stress. SO yay. That’s a Friday for you.
Saturday Chad and Linz stopped by in the morning to show me a version of “the truck” while they waited on Corey to get around to where he needed to be. It rocks, and got major props from me, and even if the house was disgusting, it was SO nice to see them. I miss them lots, and didn’t realize until they left that Chad and Linz time has become WAY too few and far between.
I NEED MORE TIME….the days aren’t long enough. Who’s idea was that anyway?
Then Greg got home from work and napped on the couch. I cleaned the entire house some more, and then we went to Prairie Meadows for a night of gambling fun. Were going to go to Mesquaki but decided Des Moines would be better for us. Didn’t win anything, but came out even and Greg and I had a good time laughing and making fun of each other/people. Good Saturday night.
Sunday went to church, and I was the liturgist. This means I read the opening bible verse, the call and response thing too. It was a good time, and I am told I did okay so yay Jenny.
Then we went to Greg’s Mom’s and went to lunch and saw her new townhouse. Greg and I both are VERY jealous, it’s a three bedroom version of Chad’s. (It really is, it’s a Regency one and everything.) It’s forking huge, and the smile she gets on her face when walking through it is just so fun to see. We stayed for an hour and a half walking around squealing and talking about where everything would go. She’s got a new beautiful home, and it was just so fun to spend the day with her.
Then we went to our first Youth Group meeting, where I think we did a really good job with them. I ever the perfectionist think I have a whole bunch of stuff I need to improve on, like being patient with them, but it’s going to be a BLAST.
Today I got up late for class, I know it’s shocking that could happen to me. But it still just makes the day start off sucky. Then I went to class for three hours, and was hopelessly bored.
Came home and tackled the whole health insurance thingy which isn’t fun for me. My parents don’t know anything about it, and they aren’t a lot of help, Greg’s mom finds out stuff for us, and it makes me feel terrible. We aren’t eligible for Cobra, and all this other SHIT, and it’s just a mess of paperwork and stupid shit. HyVee offers insurance however, so we got it through them and now the whole ordeal is over. WE HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE EVERYONE, so I refuse to think about it for a LONG LONG TIME.
Ugh. It’s snowing cats and dogs however and it hasn’t stopped all day, and I AM SOOOO HAPPY about that. It’s nice to because no one has to go to Des Moines today so no worrying about that just enjoy the snow.
Yayayay!!!!
Need to put groceries away and make some food.
